The Active Wellness Program

Active Wellness begins with understanding. Few people are born knowing how to live a truly healthy life. The first step on your path to Active Wellness is gaining the core knowledge, skills, and strategies you need to change your lifestyle for the better. The Active Wellness Program is a comprehensive 7-step program that fills in the blanks - providing essential knowledge, information and understanding about how the foods you eat, the routines you follow, the stresses you endure, and the beliefs you carry effect how you feel.

The Active Wellness Program is taught in groups or individual sessions by Registered Dietitians. Individual Wellness Counseling

No two people are exactly alike. For that reason, no two people will adapt the Active Wellness philosophy and principles to their daily lives in exactly the same way.

In private one-on-one sessions, Active Wellness licensed professionals can address your specific concerns and special circumstances. Individual consultation and training is available in nutrition, exercise, stress management, and habit change strategies that will help put you on your path to peak personal wellness. You can focus on one discipline at a time or coordinate a team of Active Wellness professionals for a more cohesive plan. Both home and office visits are available.

Maintenance Programs

Active Wellness will support you every step of the way as you work to reach your wellness goals. You can choose the group Active Wellness Maintenance Program or receive personal, one-on-one maintenance support through private consultation sessions.


Cooking Classes

Because there's more to healthy cooking than lean meats, broiled chicken, steamed vegetables and low-fat cooking spray, Active Wellness offers professional one-on-one or group instruction on healthy cooking and food preparation techniques. Instruction includes recipes for soups, pasta dishes, meat and vegetarian entrees plus salads, salad dressings, side dishes and desserts along with special recipes that meet your specific medical or health needs.
