Stress is all too common in our fast-paced society. On average, 25% of Americans report being under a high level of stress and 50% experience a moderate amount of stress [1]. Stress can make you abandon your best intentions of healthy eating and lead you straight to the cookie jar. Before you blame your food choices on a lack of willpower, it’s important to understand the contributing factors between stress and cravings. Understanding the link between your appetite and your environment will create awareness and the opportunity to make healthier decisions when you are anxious.

Michele Wong receives ACE Behavior Change Specialist Certification

VP of Wellness and Client Services, Michele Wong, recently completed her practical exam and received her Behavior Change Specialist Certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE). "I am so excited that ACE is continuing to enhance the specialty certification offerings for our industry and that coaching is high on their list of priorities. Working in Corporate Wellness and with Medical Fitness Centers for so many years has made me a firm believer that coaching is a skill that is just as important in our industry as knowing how to perform a fitness assessment."
