Team Active is excited to launch our new-and-improved employee well-being program, Live Actively. The program has been successful over the past two years but it was time to take a step back to assess how we were doing. With 77% engagement of our full-time employees and 23% engagement of our part-time and seasonal employees, we felt we were doing pretty good. We took some time to learn and listen to our employees about the performance of the program and to leverage our products and programs to better foster healthier, happier employees within our organization.
We want to support lifestyle so our employees can bring their best self to work each day. We surveyed our employees on what they were getting from the program and what they wanted to see more of. They asked for more community, connection, and ongoing resources that enhance their lifestyle and employee journey, which in turn can retain great employees.
Our most important task was to find a space so that our nationwide Active community could feel connected. We determined this needed to be done virtually, and partnered with Virtuagym to bring this vision to life. Virtuagym is a leading tech company providing innovative fitness software for gyms, personal trainers, and corporate health services. The capabilities of the Virtuagym technology allows us to create a social media like atmosphere that increases engagement with gamification, online groups, challenges and so much more.
Our team will be launching an enrollment campaign throughout the spring months, leading up to our all employee activity challenge, Active in August, this summer. We feel that through building an online community, we can leverage ongoing resources and content to improve the employee experience and our well-being program as requested. We look forward to what 2019 has to bring!
